Ken "Ski" Tanski, was born and raised in Buffalo, N.Y. and is a retired Air Traffic Controller. He has been involved as an extra in the western movie, Redemption (2006). Ski has been insistent on the quality of his costuming and the era correctness of the characters he portrays, since the beginning of his acting career. Besides his appearance in the movie Redemption, Ski has been involved in many live performances throughout the state of Arizona and is an active member of the award winning re-enactment group, The Arizona Gunfighters since 2005 and the acting group, Guns Of Pioneer since 2005. Ken Tanski is available for modeling, meet and greet events, filming, educational and fun events, and works well with other actors and actresses of the era to perform in front of any size audience. Ski is fully costumed for an 1800's era outlaw, cowboy, townsperson, Lawman, and Town Drunk. He enjoys building black powder pistols from kits then converting them to be able to use cylinder ammunition, and he is fully leather adorned of the era. Ken is available for local Phoenix engagements or will travel to the event or filming upon contract. Ken Tanski is a non-union actor.
