Jim Hunter is the Founder of Six Gun For Hire, an Old West reenactment group located in central Nebraska, He has been actively performing reenactments of the Old West for over 20 years. Jim has performed as the characters of Bill Cody, Heck Thomas, Bill Hickok, Jim Bridger, Frank North and many others during his tenure as an Old West actor. As a group, they have performed at the Nebraska State Fair, Cattlemen’s Ball, and various Nebraska County Fairs around the state as well as Double D ranch, expos, grand openings, shotgun weddings and fund raisers. Jim is currently working on a movie written and directed by Derek Walker called “Another Man's Gun” which is being filmed in Nebraska. Jim is available for modeling, meet and greet events, filming, educational and fun events. He works well with other actors and actresses of the era to perform in front of any size audience. Jim Hunter has full costumes for Outlaw, Cowboy, Lawman and also a variety of specialty costumes such as Union Soldier.
